I’m a proud, born-and-raised Oregonian and the son of South Korean immigrants who built their lives here through sacrifice, perseverance, and an unwavering belief in opportunity. From them, I learned that fairness, hard work, and integrity matter; not just in words, but in how you show up every single day.

Growing up here shaped my understanding of community. As a violinist with the Portland Youth Philharmonic, I learned that every person carries responsibility and that real harmony comes from listening as much as leading. Those lessons stayed with me and continue to guide my approach to the law: be prepared, be thoughtful, and treat every voice with respect.

I met my wife in fifth grade, and today we’re raising two incredible children. Being a husband and father reminds me daily that the decisions we make today shape the world our kids inherit tomorrow.

I’m running for judge because our courts require more than legal knowledge. They require patience, impartiality, and a steady commitment to applying the law fairly to everyone who walks through the courtroom doors. I believe in equal access to justice, respectful proceedings, and decisions grounded in both the law and common sense.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my family, on the golf course, or riding Oregon’s open roads on my motorcycle. I’m ready to serve with integrity, impartiality, and a deep respect for the law.
